These Terms of Service apply to your use of nioupet.com and purchases from Niou, operated by Xinran Liu. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return and Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

1. Using our store

You must be legally able to enter into a purchase agreement, or use the store with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Please provide accurate contact, payment, and delivery information. You may not use our store for fraud, unlawful activity, or interference with its operation.

2. Personalized keepsakes

Niou makes personalized jewelry using a small amount of pet fur supplied by the customer. You confirm that you are entitled to provide the fur for this purpose. Send clean, dry fur in secure packaging and keep some irreplaceable fur at home. Wait for our confirmed mailing address and preparation instructions before sending anything; our business contact address is not the fur mailing address.

Fur color, texture, density, and placement naturally vary. Sample images illustrate a design and are not a guarantee of identical fur appearance. These natural differences do not excuse damage, loose stones, manufacturing defects, or material differences from the confirmed product specifications. Materials, dimensions, and other product details are stated on the relevant product page.

3. Orders, prices, and payment

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes and any charges shown at checkout are presented before payment. Please review your order carefully before submitting it. An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order; it does not mean that production or shipping has started.

If a material pricing error, unavailable item, payment problem, or missing order information prevents us from completing an order, we will contact you. We will not impose a higher price or substitute a materially different product without your agreement. If we cancel an order, payments collected for the canceled items will be refunded to the original payment method.

4. Production and mailing

Estimated production time is 7–14 business days after we receive your pet's fur and all required order information. Weekends, U.S. public holidays, and inbound and outbound transit time are excluded. Delivery is currently available within the United States only.

You pay the postage to send fur to Niou. Standard shipping of the finished order within the United States is complimentary. Any unused fur will be carefully sealed and returned with your finished keepsake. Please use a tracked service for inbound fur and keep your receipt.

We will contact you about significant delays. Where required by applicable law, you will be offered the choice to accept a revised shipping timeframe or cancel for a prompt refund. Please see our Shipping Policy for further details.

5. Cancellations, returns, and quality concerns

You may request cancellation before production begins. Production begins when Niou has received your fur and all required order information and starts making your keepsake. Once production begins, personalized items cannot be canceled or returned simply because you change your mind. Postage paid to send fur to Niou is not reimbursed for an ordinary pre-production cancellation.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from the confirmed order, email us with your order number and clear photos or video. We request contact within 7 days of delivery to help us investigate promptly; this does not shorten statutory rights. Depending on the issue, remedies may include repair, replacement, remake, partial refund, or full refund. Repairs, remakes, or replacements for confirmed manufacturing errors or arrival damage are free. Our Return and Refund Policy provides further details.

6. Jewelry use and care

Our keepsakes are jewelry for people, not pet accessories or toys. Keep small pieces away from children and animals. Handle your keepsake gently and consider any known sensitivity to the materials listed on the product page.

7. Privacy and communications

We use your information to process orders, communicate about your keepsake, and provide support as described in our Privacy Policy. Transactional order emails are separate from optional marketing communications. Contact us promptly if your email or delivery information changes.

8. Website content and availability

Niou branding, text, and imagery may not be copied for commercial use without permission or another lawful basis. We aim to keep information accurate and the store available, but errors or interruptions may occur. Corrections to the website do not remove your rights relating to an existing purchase.

9. Changes and applicable rights

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with an updated date. Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively remove agreed rights for existing orders. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer protections or legal remedies available to you.
